The park is within easy reach of several tourist attractions including the Snowdonia National Park.

  • Portmeirion Italianate village
  • Setting for the cult 1960s T.V. programme The Prisoner and home to the No 6 festival in early September (4 miles).
  • Llechwedd slate caverns, where you can enter the world of the welsh slate miner.
  • Alternatively you can have a bird’s eye view of the quarry workings on the area’s newest attraction 'Zip World', or for the more energetic why not try out the bouncy nets at 'Bounce Below' and coming in mid-2015 you will be able to try the underground zip wires (12 miles).
  • Porthmadog town with its many shops, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants is only 3 miles from the park. Porthmadog is also home to the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland railways. Porthmadog is served by a main line railway and various bus companies.
  • Our friendly reception staff will try to assist you with any enquiries you may have.
  • There really is something for everyone in this beautiful part of Wales.
